Setting up gallery

1. Upload files for gallery
First you have to upload your jpg files to some directory on your webserver eg. ../gallery/partypictures/ do this via ftp!
Remember to give 777 permisions to the folder partypictures !

2. Make a gallery page
The gallery script generates thumbnails placed in /thumb/ eg. ../gallery/partypictures/thumb/ and generates a .txt file for each picture. The txt file is used to hold title and comments, but this is done automatic so you do not have to worry ;o) - to change the title of the picture edit the txt file using some editor.

To add the gallery to the pages just put these lines on your page - and you are done

3. Thumbnails per page
To control/setup number of thumbnails pr. page use the code below, the code will show 9 thumbnails pr page. If no parameter is given the default setting is used. The default value is 6 it can be changed via the admin config for gallery plugin, number of thumbs.

4. Size of picture in main view
To control/setup size of the picturen in the main view page use the code below, the code will show resize the picture to 250 px. If no parameter is given the default setting is used. The default value is 350 px it can be changed via the admin config for gallery plugin, main max size. The value can be used in combo with thumbnails.

5. Managing the gallery plugin
The plugin can be managed by logging into cmsimple as manager, select the gallery plugin from the avaliable plugins drop downbox. and you are off, the gallery are managed in the main settings, the stylesheet,config or language use the corresponding buttons.
